The first few lights glow brightly,
as you watch the season start.
You know you should be happy,
but don’t feel it in your heart.
Instead you think about a time
when someone laughed with you,
and the love you shared then filled your soul.
But too soon it was through.
I’d like a stocking made for a giant,
And a meeting house full of toys,
Then I’d go out in a happy hunt
For the poor little girls and boys;
Up the street and down the street,
And across and over the town,
I’d search and find them everyone,
Before the sun went down.
The smell of pine boughs fills the air,
Pretty silver bells tinkle everywhere.
Sparkling snow covers the ground,
Christmas spirit is all around. .
All of Heaven sings
Hallelujah to the Christ
Born to save mankind.
A song was heard at Christmas
To wake the midnight sky:
A saviour’s birth,and peace on earth,
And praise to God on high.
The angels sang at Christmas
With all the hosts above,
And still we sing the newborn King
His glory and his love.
What is Christmas without Jesus Christ?
It’s a holiday full of stuff.
Money and stress, teaching kids greed,
some people are saying “Enough!”
“Love one another,” our Savior said.
It’s all about love, not things.
Let’s teach our children to serve, and create
The real joy the true Christmas brings.
It’s fun to read poems
and stories all about
Santa around Christmas time.
But these christian
Christmas poems remind
us that Jesus is the reason
we even have a Christmas!
Let’s celebrate his birthday
by giving him the best present ever
our lives devoted to living for him!
I’m a little Star from in the sky
I’ll sit on the tree top way up high
I’ll shine for you in my special way
And twinkle brightly on Christmas day.
If we practiced Jesus every way,
It’d be like Christmas every day;
If we, like Him, were meek and mild
And loved each woman, man and child,
If we’d read our Bible, it’d remind us,
So that every single day would find us
More and more in sweet accord
With our sweet Jesus–Master, Lord.
Then every day that we’re alive
Would be like December 25.
Lord of heaven and earth,
We join today with Christians past
and present to celebrate your birth.
Bind us together as one family with your love.
Thank you for your sacrifice Lord.
Today we eat and and give thanks your
birth, life and resurrection.
We share this food, our lives and
our hearts with one another,
In memory of you, our Saviour and Lord.
Holy Creator of Trees,
bless with your abundant grace
this our Christmas tree as a symbol of joy.
May its evergreen branches be a sign
of your never-fading promises.
May its colorful lights and ornaments call us
to decorate with love our home and our world.
May the gifts that surround this tree
be symbols of the gifts we have received
from the Tree of Christ’s Cross.
Holy Christmas tree within our home,
may Joy and Peace come and nest
in your branches and in our hearts. Amen.
DEAR INFANT JESUS
IN A SHORT TIME
YOU WILL COME
TO VISIT US
AND YOUR HOLY, DIVINE COMING
IS FULL OF PEACE, JOY AND LOVE
FOR ME AND EVERYONE.
OUR HEARTS ARE FULL OF YOUR LOVE
IN OUR DAILY LIFE.
DEAR JESUS PLEASE HELP
ALL YOUR DEVOTEES
AROUND THE WORLD.
THANKS MY DEAR L O R D.
Lord, you know what it means to be vulnerable
A fragile young life, a defenceless young babe
So may this heart be vulnerable and open
This Christmas with Christ, walking closer each day.
LOVING looks the large-eyed cow,
Loving stares the long-eared ass
At Heaven’s glory in the grass!
Child, with added human birth
Come to bring the child of earth
Glad repentance, tearful mirth,
And a seat beside the hearth
At the Father’s knee–
Make us peaceful as thy cow;
Make us patient as thine ass;
Make us quiet as thou art now;
Make us strong as thou wilt be.
Make us always know and see
We are his, as well as thou.
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your
birth . may we begin to see the world in the light
of the understanding you give us. As you
chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the
poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known,
so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also
remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate
than ourselves in this season of giving.Amen.
Close the doors of hate and open the
doors of love all over the world?
Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
May the Christmas morning make us
happy to be thy children,
And the Christmas evening bring us to
our bed with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus? sake.
Living Lord, we long to discover your love,
feast on your truth, invite you into our
lives and thank you for your sacrifice.
Amidst the presents, food and family
we long to celebrate Christmas with you.
Joy to the world! The Lord is come;
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare him room,
And heaven and nature sing.
Christmas may be many things
or it may be a few.
For you, the joy
is each new toy;
for me; it’s watching you.
Every time people forget their differences
And realize their love for each other
That is Christmas,
May this Christmas bring us
Closer to the spirit of human understanding
Closer to the blessing of peace!
